She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Vern and Cynthia Beard (Spears); and her brother John Devon Beard. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Lawrence (Tim) of Wiggins, MS and Charles Dunton (Kerri) of Hurley, MS; and her brother Darryl Beard (Rachel). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
