He was predeceased by: his daughter Chava Jean Merwin; and his father-in-law Doug Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Merwin; his children, Steven (Morgan), Tanya, Rose, Noah of Tyler Joseph, Isaiah and Elisheva "Elie"; his grandson Jacob Merwin; his parents, John Merwin and Claudia Merwin; his mother-in-law Sylvia Mitchell; his brothers, Phil Merwin, Fred Merwin and Todd Merwin (Tammy); his siblings-in-law, Doug Mitchell (Teresa) and Jessica Mitchell; his nieces and nephews, Zack, Ethan, Brogan, John Tadeusz and Dylan; and his pet Bucky. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moments Funeral Home (7158 MS-63, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
