He was predeceased by: his parents, Euna Louise and Teddy Rudolph Hood; his daughter-in-law Danielle Hood; and his siblings, Larry Hood, Mike Hood, Penny Snelgrove, Donna Rich, Teddy Hood, Raymond Hood and Lelia Blankinchip.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie "Rebekah" Ann Hood; his children, Thomas Lance Hood, David Stringer (Michelle), Todd Stringer (Tonia), Monittie Flowers (Josh) and Katie Erkhart (Dalton); his grandchildren, Harley Hood, Maria Hood, Markus Hood, Emily Flowers, Kanyen Flowers, Americus Stringer, Isabella Erkhart, Olivia Flowers, Noah Stringer, Haven Stringer and Cayleigh Stringer; his siblings, Albert Hood (Cindy), Sarah Weaver and Betty Whigham; and his sister-in-law Karen McCullough. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moments Funeral Home (7158 MS-63, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
