He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Reid and Ethel Reid; and his siblings, Arnie Reid, Rayford Reid, John Reid, Lonnie Reid, Bobby Reid, Patsy Bracewell and Florence Bullock.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Reid; his children, Billy Reid, Jr. (Becky), Ronnie Reid (Amanda), Richard Reid and Sandra Madden (Eric); and his brothers, Carl Reid, Roger Dale Reid, Edmond Bond and Henry Earl Bond. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freedom Worship Center (72 MS-589, Purvis, MS 39475). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Union Grove Cemetery.
