In the sacred silence of farewell, Clayton is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Clayton's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Hester Sr. and Lettie Martin; his wife Sandra Belinda Hester; and his children, Jeff Hester, Brenda Hester, Jay Hester and Janet Hester.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Ray Hester (Suzette) of Salinas, Tammy Lynn Zimmer (Robert) of Hattiesburg, MS and Clayton "Rocky" Hester III of Poplarville. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and even a few great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Little Black Creek Baptist Church (1284 Little Black Creek Rd, Lumberton, MS 39455).
