She was predeceased by: her parents, Marilyn Steel, and Eugene Steel, Sr.; her brother Eugene "Stan" Steele, Jr.; her husband Edward "Buzzy" J. Vanderbrook III; her children, Angele Guidry and Edward Vanderbrook IV (Kellie); her grandsons, Marshall W. Foust and Edward Vanderbrook V; her brother Darryl Steele (Jackie); and her nieces, Kristi Durapau (Dustin) and Kellie Steele. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White Funeral Home (315 US-11, Poplarville, MS 39470). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Cemetery (379 W Seneca Rd, Lumberton, MS 39455).
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have donations made to the American Cancer Society.
