It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hoyle A. Byrd Jr. of Lumberton, Mississippi, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hoyle Albert Byrd, Sr. and Ernestine Norris Byrd of Lumberton, Mississippi.; his brother-in-law Lee O. Taylor, Jr.; and his nephew Lee Alan Taylor. He is survived by : his sisters, Beverly Byrd Taylor of Lake Charles and Melanie Byrd Landrum (John) of Biloxi, Mississippi.. He is also survived by nephews, six grandnieces and grandnephews, and two great grandnephews.
