He was predeceased by: his wife Gertie R. Smith; his parents, Robert Smith and Agnes Smith; and his siblings, Lavert Smith, A. W. Smith, Dorothy Smith, Flora Miller, Demaree Stewart and Gerdell Lee.
He is survived by: his children, William Kevin Smith, Larry Smith (Rhonda), Lisa Jones (Kyle) and Cara Seals (Dwight); his grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (Frank), Haley Redifer (Nick), Will Smith, Jared Jones, Jason Jones, Jonathan Jones and Michael Corban (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Chazz Schertzer, London Schertzer, Alice Schertzer, Vaughn Roberts, Victoria Roberts, Laurel Redifer and Magnolia Redifer.
