She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Floyd Chenney and Eulera Smith Chenney; her husband James Harvey Doss; her siblings, Virginia Thompson (Doug) of West Point, MS and Floyd Chenney (Ann) of Starkville, MS; and her siblings-in-law, Talton Doss (Ruby) of Maben, MS and Opal Long (Bert) of Louisville, MS..
She is survived by: her son Phillip Doss (Yvonne) of Maben, MS; her grandchildren, Tracy Hudson (Scott) of Franklin, TN, Clayton Doss (Wendi) of Florence, MS, Kemberly Wells of Starkville, MS and Melanie Hollingsworth (K. C.) of Anniston, AL.; her great grandchildren, Baylor, Ali Hudson, Grayson, Carlyle, Lawson Doss, Austin and Avery Hollingsworth; and her cousin Frances "Little Sister" Johnson of Ridgeland, MS.
