She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Chesney and Ella Dorman Chesney; her husband Barney J. Holdiness; her son Michael W. Holdiness; and her brother Purvis Chesney.

She is survived by: her sons, Kent Holdiness (Debbie) of Louisville, Barney Holdiness (Pam) of Noxapater, Mississippi, Roy Holdiness (Jackie) of Maben and Pete Holdiness (Pam) of Ackerman, Mississippi.; her sisters, Faye Henley, Maye Ursey and Birdie McElhenney; and her brothers-in-law, J. W. Holdiness and Kellis Holdiness. She is also survived by "Mamaw" to her 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
