He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hamill; his son Tommy Hamill (Kellie); his son-in-law George Denton; his children, Sherika Yates, Latoria Yates and Demaruse Yates; and his siblings, Katherine Page, Coleene Higginbotham (Leon), Ralph Hamill (Ann) and Jerry Hamill (Betty). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
