She was predeceased by: her parents, Harroll Dodds Heflin and Dulcia Bane Jackson Heflin; her husband John Gordon Gentry; her son John Dodds Gentry; her grandson John Dodds Gentry, Jr. (J. D.); and her sister Peggy Heflin Gentry.
She is survived by: her daughter Gina Gentry Cotton (Chuck); her daughter-in-law Gina Kellum Gentry; her grandchildren, Ashley Cotton Cutrer (Lance), Laura Cotton Chancellor (Dale), Jackson Kellum Gentry and Joshua Gordon Gentry; her great grandchildren, Luke Cotton Cutrer, Colt Gentry Chancellor and Cooper Bane Chancellor; her sister Harriett Heflin Doyel (Cleat); her grandson James Wesley Gibson (Rebecca); and her great grandchildren, Mary Leighton and James Haze.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cockrell Funeral Home (3478 Jefferson St, Macon, MS 39341). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
