She was predeceased by: her father James Bailey, Sr.; her husband Johnnie Wilson; her son Kelvin Wilson; and her sisters, Beverly Bailey, Martha Lanier, Diane Binion, Bessie Mae Lee and Janice Hill.
She is survived by: her mother Gennie Bailey; her child Luekeyish Temple Gary (Jerry); her nieces, Lillie Terrell-McDonald (Stephen) and Jackie Sanders (Bobby Sanders); her siblings, Melvin Verdell (Ozzie), Earnestine Reed (Darrell), James Bailey, Jr. (Hattie), Ronnie Bailey, Mary Bailey, Amedric Walkers, Nicholas Bailey (Totoha), Anthony Bailey, Sr., Christopher Bailey, Tony Hill and Robert Speights; and her close friends, Mary Hill, Ivory Harris, Daisy Hannah and Angela Kidd. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 18 great grand-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carter's Funeral Home (200 Millers Chapel Church Rd, Macon, MS 39341). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Now Faith Ministries. A burial was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at the Wilson Cemetery.
