He is survived by: his wife Katie Bakken; his sons, Chris Bakken (Sara) and Alex Bakken (Christine); his sisters, Sandy Caruso (Joe) and Ellen Colonna (Keith); his sister-in-law Sarah Glisman (Greg); and his grandchildren, Ana and Theo Bakken. He is also survived by his seven nieces and nephews.
