It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Dwight Hood of Madison, Mississippi, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Hood and Lena Johnston Hood; and his siblings, Cynthia Corder, William Hood, Jr. and Larry Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Farrell Hood; his son Devin Hood; his daughter-in-law Geneva Torrence Hood of Madison; his grandchildren, Holden, Quinn and Owen Hood; and his siblings, Debbie Nelson of Benton, MS, Lynn Bonnette of LaPlace, LA and Charles Hood of Boise, ID. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org) or the American Diabetes Association (http://www.diabetes.org) in Dwight's honor.
