He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Stinson and Pat Bruce Stinson; his brother Scott Stinson; his mother-in-law Valerie Reifers; and his sister-in-law Francis Reifers.

He is survived by: his wife Regina Reifers Stinson; his daughters, Claire, Emily and Molly; his father-in-law Tommy Reifers; his siblings-in-law, Key (Debbie), Adam, Jay and Bridget Reifers Barner (Mike); and his uncle Chuck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
