We are sad to announce that, on February 8, 2026, at the age of 63, Cynthia Trussell of Madison, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Mardis and Fannie Mardis (Winters); and her sister Saundra Lane. She is survived by: her husband Gregg Trussell; her daughters, Mallory Godfrey (Derrick), Taylor Stover (Josh) and Abby Douglas (Scott); her sister Jennifer Stuart (Reid); her grandchildren, Mae Mardis Godfrey, Russell Godfrey, Emmett Stover, Harris Stover, Lee Stover and Will Douglas; her niece Brooke McFarland (Nate); her nephews, Justin Gordon (Lauren), Jace Gordon (Holly) and Tyler Trussell; and her brothers-in-law, Todd Lane and Daniel Trussell.
