He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Carby and Phoebe Phares Carby; and his grandson Gabriel Carby. He is survived by : his sons, Paul Carby (Sammi) and Bishop Carby (Celeste); his grandchildren, Cate, Dalton and Jackson; his siblings, Melinda Everett (Charlie) and Philip Carby (Stella); and his nephews, Chad and Seth Everett.
