It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Martin Walker of Madison, Mississippi, born in Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvester Joseph Walker and Maggie Harrington; and his sister Maggie. He is survived by : his wife Marjorie Hood; his children, Rodney Walker (Cindy) and Ellen Walker Portman (Chris); his brother Ralph; his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Davis (Luke) and Jake; and his great grandchildren, Lily Parker Davis and Walker Davis. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in George's name to American Diabetes Association, Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery and Broadmoor Baptist Church ESL Program.
