He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Francis Dettman and Pearl Moore Dettman; and his siblings, James Dettman, Elizabeth Canfield-Moncrief, Evelyn Johnson and Dorothy Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dettman; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Herrington, Suzanne Dettman, Louis Canfield and John Canfield. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
