As Gregory departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gregory leaves behind.
He is survived by: his parents, Gregory Moreau Johnston, Sr. and Michelle Scott Johnston of Madison; his son Rhodes Harris Johnston (Rhodes); his brother Harrison S. Johnston of Madison; his grandparents, Brent L. Johnston, Sr. (late Cynthia) of Madison, Donald and Julia Scott of Southaven; his pet Ace; Annie Jean Frazier of Madison. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broadmoor Baptist Church (1531 Highland Colony Pkwy, Madison, MS 39110). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broadmoor Baptist Church or In His Steps Ministries.
