He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Blake Rives; and his parents, Ralph Edward and Nancy Dell Herrington Rives. He is survived by: his wife Sandie Wilbanks Rives; his son Justin Michael Rives (Cristie); his grandsons, Jason Cade Rives and Jordan Blake Rives; and his siblings, Ralph Edward Rives, Jr. (Leann) and Sandra Rives Monohan (Jamie).
