He was predeceased by: his sister Ginger Lynn Burns. He is survived by: his wife Julia Furr; his daughters, Avery Burns Nash (Derek) and Sarah Allen Burns; his grandson Oliver Thomas "Ollie" Nash; his parents, Ralph Burns and Hilda Burns; his brother Glenn Burns (DeEtte); his sibling's children, Nick Burns (Lindsey) and Abbey Burns Simmons (Luke); his great-nephews, Lennon "Parks" Burns and Luke "Burns" Simmons; and his great-niece Ella Nicholas Burns.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Broadmoor Baptist Church (1531 Highland Colony Pkwy, Madison, MS 39110). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery (759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110).
