It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Harold Knight of Madison, Mississippi, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Mary Sue Knight; his wife Mary Scotte "Scottie" Wood Knight; his brothers, Allen Bostic Knight and George McCullough Knight; and his granddaughter Maggie Knight.
He is survived by: his children, Gary, Kim Knight, Sharon, Jim Brown, Allen and Debbie Knight; and his grandchildren, Ashley Zangus (Brandon), Taylor Knight (Emily), Heather Sydnor (Shaka), Henry Brown (Mary Ashton), Allie Clay (Matthew), Mary Kate Robertson (John), Anna Katherine Knight, Reid Knight (Alex), Robert Jones (Skylar) and Erin Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Tupelo (400 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Le Bonheur children's hospital in Memphis or to Mississippi State University general scholarship fund, MSU Foundation, PO Box 6149, MS State, MS 39762.
