We bid farewell to John Roach Jr. of Madison, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 22, 2025 at the age of 87. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Gordon Roach and Kathrine C. Roach. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ford McDougall Roach; his children, Mary Helen Ferguson (Fred) of Madison and John Roach III (Meredith) of Fairhope, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Jack Ferguson of Houston, Texas, Selah Ferguson of Madison, Sam Roach, Will Roach and Ford Roach of Fairhope; and his sister Anne Kohlmeyer of New Orleans.
Attorney for the North Pike School District and Southwest Mississippi Hospital, he was a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association and the Mississippi Bar Foundation.
