He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia Little Brown; his children, John Nicholas Brown (Penny), Joseph Sheldon Brown (Julie) and Cynthia Victoria Hawkins (Alex); his grandchildren, Anne Carter Brown, Joseph Franklin Brown (Joe), Alexander Clark Hawkins and Cynthia Reagan Hawkins; and his close friend Kevin "Kick" Etter.
