It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Hovas Sanders of Madison, Mississippi, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Percy Carl and Lora Dewett Hovas; her husband Lewis Albert Sanders; her stepson Lewis Albert Sanders, Jr.; and her sisters, Faye Hovas King (Bernice) and Floyce Joan Hovas Collins (Lee Dell).
She is survived by : her children, Sheila Joyce Rhodes (Mike), Kenneth Albert Sanders (Melody) and Carl Douglas Sanders (Donna). She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
