She is survived by: her husband Carl Victor Welsh, Jr. (Sonny); her children, Vic Welsh (Gigi), Jeanne Lee Guy (Allen), Ed Welsh (Pam) and Mary Lynne Brennan (Blake); her brother Edwin Don DeWeese (Rita); her grandchildren, Trey Koury (Nan), Victor Welsh, Morgan Hankins (Tim), Laura Lacy (Joey), Edwin Welsh, Jordan Treuting (Casey), Ansley Guy (Nick), Colin Welsh (Kennedy), Blake Brennan, Jr., Marion Welsh and Hadley Funderburg (Jack); her great grandchildren, Caroline, Katy Gwin, Tatum, Everett and Benjamin; and her friend Theressa Otto. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (127 Church Rd, Madison, MS 39110). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made to Saint Richard Catholic School, 4261 I-55 North, Jackson, MS 39206.
