He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Carney and Pauline Wigley Carney. He is survived by: his wife Helen Leake; his children, Chris (Susan) and Nan Lyles (Brett); his grandsons, Jonathan Lyles (Bailey), Nicholas Lyles (Katie), Christopher Lyles (Brennan), Wilson Carney and Elliott Lyles; and his great grandchildren, Charlie Reed Lyles, Magnolia Beck Lyles and Brooklyn Rose Lyles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Webster Animal Shelter in Madison.
