She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Furr and Carl Furr; her son Terry; her siblings-in-law, Betty Ann Warren (Jerry), Jo Evelyn Campbell (Joe), Gail Furr (Carl Ray) and Jerry Warren; and her nephew Carl Ray Furr, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Tommy; her children, Vicki Page (Mark) of Hernando and Michael Akin (Susan) of Madison, Mississippi.; her grandchildren, Reagan Page McKellar (Cannon), Caroline Page, Avy Akin, Katy Akin and Alex Akin; her great grandchild Eloise Kate McKellar; and her brother Carl Ray Furr. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Sandra Lynelle Furr Akin Memorial Scholarship fund at Mississippi State University.
