We announce the death of Sandra Saxton in Madison, Mississippi, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 82. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Larry Saxton, Sr.; her parents, Christopher Columbus and Willie Lucille Haynes; and her siblings, John Ellis Haynes (Mae), Margie Manning (R. K.), Laura Ann Whitehead (Robert), Betty Bradshaw (Doug), Mary Cunningham and Bobbie Haynes.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Mawmaw; her children, Carl Larry, Jr. Saxton (Tammye), Jimmy Kevin Saxton, Nancy Carol Saxton and Stacey Lynn Coffey (Mike); her grandchildren, Stuardt Saxton (Megan), Chris Krzyzkowski (Erin), Cody Saxton (Kayla), Ericka Coffey, Ryan Saxton (Jessica), Logan Coffey (McKenzie), Jacob Saxton (Braylee), Joshua Saxton and Caleb Saxton; her great grandchildren, Deacon Krzyzkowski, Waylon Coffey, Callie Ann Krzyzkowski, Miles Saxton, Maverick Saxton, Ellington Betty Saxton, Wren Coffey and Holland Saxton; and her stepgreat-grandson Luke Atarji.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Breeland Funeral Home (3304 S Liberty St, Canton, MS 39046). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Canton Cemetery (226 E Peace St #4533, Canton, MS 39046).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial donation be made to Grace Fellowship Baptist Church of Canton, MS.
