He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Owen Cook, Sr. and Julia Ann Beeson Cook; his sisters, Judy Brasher (Charles) and Sally Rice (Jim); and his brother-in-law Bebe Crisler (Debbie).

He is survived by : his wife Beth Crisler Cook; his children, Chip Cook (Yvette) and Crissie Parker (Michael); his grandchildren, Wallace Owen Cook, IV (Wen), Taylor Parker, John Tucker Cook and Ellis Parker; and his brother-in-law Joe Bob Crisler (Suzan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Owen would want memorial donations made to the Children's Building Fund, FBC Starkville, MS.
