We announce the death of Wendon P. Moore Sr. (Madison, Mississippi), who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 82. Wendon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Moore and Goldie Preston Moore; and his wife Tanyia Moore. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Fontanilla (Galeno), Wendon P. Moore, Jr. (Pam) and Michael S. Moore (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Taylor, Savannah, Brittany, Preston, Chelsea and Chance; and his sister Sarah Guild. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home (759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
