She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Jones and Bessie Jones; her husband Edwin Rucker; and her sisters, Lois Blair, Dorothy Quay Mahaffey and Alma Lavon Caston.
She is survived by : her daughters, Ira Jones and Bessie Cole Jones; her sister Lavelle J. McLendon; her niece Denise (Terry Jones); and her nephew Eddy (Donna Mahaffey). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
