With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgia Ann Dukes (Magee, Mississippi), born in Raleigh, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Harvey Cox and Lyla Clytee Warren Cox; and her siblings, Kenneth Cox and Barbara Garner. She is survived by : her husband Robert Dukes; her children, Chris Dukes (Ashley), Leslie Ann Pearce (Pete), Anita Robertson (Gregory) and Rena Dukes; and her grandchildren, Thomas Pearce, Tamara Pearce, Taylor Pearce, Caitlin Valentine (Tyler), Adrian Jenkins (Ty), Carolyn Robertson, Jamie Robertson, Mallie Dukes, Lyla Dukes, Audrie Moore, Chloe Moore, Hunter Valentine and Fischer Valentine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Dukes Cemetery.
