We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 84, Harold Brooks of Magee, Mississippi, born in Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Brooks and Laurie Welch Brooks. He is survived by : his wife Glenda Mangum Brooks; his sister Tenelia Brooks Frier; and his children, Jeffrey Brooks (Robin), Lana Brooks, John Mangum (Stacy), Kris Mangum (Jennifer) and Susan Mangum (Brandiilyne). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tutor Funeral Home - Magee (822 Simpson Hwy 149, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

His visionary contributions to the bank's inception have left an indelible mark on the financial landscape of the region.
