He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Steele; and his grandparents, Emmitt, Dora Steele, Alton and Vera Lee Wilkinson.
He is survived by: his son Shane Steele (Ashley); his mother Nadine Steele; his grandchildren, Hunter Steele and Brodie Steele; and his siblings, Terry Bruce Steele (Claudia), Michael Ames Steele (Marsha), Joseph Lane Steele and Kathy Nadine Bailey (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee (302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Magee City Cemetery (1212 1st Ave NE, Magee, MS 39111).
