He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Thompson Ferguson and Pearl Ferguson; and his siblings, S. A. Ferguson, Garland Ferguson, Glen Ferguson, James Ferguson, Anthony Ferguson, Richard Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson, Dale Ferguson, Danny Ferguson, Janet Huddleston and Kathy Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Ferguson; his son Jamie; his daughter-in-law Allisha Ferguson; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Jonathan Phillips; his grandchildren, Annalyce Ferguson, Zoe Phillips, Katelyn Ferguson, Emma Phillips, Eve Phillips, Jacob Ferguson, Elijah Phillips and Noah Ferguson; and his brother Terry Ferguson (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Life Fellowship Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the New Life Fellowship Church Cemetery.
