It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Bailey Austin of Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bailey and Nelia Bailey; her siblings, Marvin D. Bailey, Johnny M. Bailey, Leland Bailey, Nelson Bailey, Thelma Harper, Margaret Bustin and Mattie Leen Idom; and her grandson Martin Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Elbert Austin of Magee, MS, Howard Austin (Kristi) of Salem, Mary Meadows (Bobby) of Magee, MS and Kathryn McElhenney (Kenneth) of Laurel; and her grandchildren, Samantha Stout, Melody Dawn Austin, Stephen Austin (Kirsten), Zachary Bynum (Kaitlyn Abby), Chris Austin, Douglas Kelly, Marcus Kelly, Jessica Newson and Brodie Meadows (Amanda). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.
