With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Anne McGhee of Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Barney Padgett and Ludie Padgett; her brothers, Edgar Holcomb Padgett and Bernett Padgett; and her daughter Beverly Cook.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Jean Padgett; her daughters, Rebecca Ranager and Elizabeth Hughes (Andy); her grandchildren, Ronald Cook Jr. (Nicole), Joshua Ranager, Kelley Ranager, Emily Bosse (Garrett) and Anna Hughes; her great grandchildren, Eliana Cook, Caden Cook, Allison Bosse, Nathan Bosse and Andrew Bosse; her sister-in-law Betty Padgett; and her sibling's children, Eileen Cooke (Tim), Margaret Sorenson (Paul) and John Padgett.
