We announce the death of Richard Alan Wendt of Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 69. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wendt and Phyllis Wendt; and his siblings, Nancy Fick and Robert Wendt (Bob). He is survived by: his brothers, Ronald, Jerry and Tom Wendt; and his nieces and nephews, Clint Fick, Jennifer Wendt Geisler (Scott), Julia Dahlke (Travis), Jason Wendt (Jessica), Madeline Wendt (Scott), Robin Wendt and Linder Wendt. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews; a great-great-nephew; and many, many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Overflow Church (222 Railroad Dr E, Magee, MS 39111).
