It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Jean Grimes of Magnolia, Mississippi, born in Parkin, Arkansas, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Wayne Gibson; her parents, John L Grimes and Ethel Parker; her siblings, Robert Dean Grimes, Johnny Edward Grimes, Jerry Toby Grimes, Donnie Carroll Grimes, Doris Faye Grimes Bourn and Mary Elizabeth Grimes Smith; and her grandson Jonathon Wade Gibson (Stacy).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, David Wayne Gibson (Anita), Lillian Felicia Raborn, Timothy Edwin Gibson, Janie Nicole Martin (Shawn) and Abigail Caroline Shropshire.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bala Chitto Baptist Church (2098 Bala Chitto Rd, Magnolia, MS 39652). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Daniel Pounds Cemetery.
