She is survived by: her sons, Joe Barnes (Gloria) of Hattiesburg, MS, Wesley Barnes (Betty) of Walnut, MS, Gaither Barnes (Linda) of Walnut, MS, Terry Barnes (Tammy) of Kossuth, MS and Jerry Barnes (Pam) of Ripley, MS; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Ketchum (Randy) of Ripley, MS, Leslie Barnes of Hattiesburg, MS, Shannon Barnes (Misty) of Corinth, MS, Justin Barnes (Myra) of Walnut, MS, Jonathan Barnes of Oxford, MS, Ryan Barnes (Jerrica) of Byhalia, MS, Kayla Caudle (John) of Ripley, MS, Madison Barnes of Ripley, MS, Demitria Pullin (Tom) of Grenada, MS, Tiffany Atwal (Steven) of Oxford, MS, Lee Barnes (Brandie) of Corinth, MS, Dillon Barnes (Tuesday) and Megan Luster of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by her twenty-one great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Jesus Name Community Church (61 Co Rd 770, Walnut, MS 38683). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
