We announce the death of Mickey V. Morris Sr. of Magnolia, Mississippi, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernell Morris and Mary Etta Burris Morris; and his wife Sarah Morris. He is survived by: his sons, Mickey V. Morris Jr. (Travonda), Christopher L. Morris and Richard B. Morris (Raelyn) of McComb, MS; his siblings, Lester Morris (Diane), Brenda Schenk and Gayle Smith (Len); and his grandchildren, Sanora, Masey, Nathaniel, Tabitha and Tyler Morris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (1076 Hamp Lea Rd, Magnolia, MS 39652). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Magnolia Cemetery (120 Osborne St, Magnolia, MS 39652).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his name.
