With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelby Brent of Magnolia, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 26. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Shelby may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his brother Tyler Rawls; and his grandparents, Carolyn, John Batte, Major Brent and W. L. Rawls.
He is survived by: his parents, Swain Allen Brent and Robin Rawls; his grandmother Judy Rawls; his aunts, Annette Hales, Lisa Burris (Tyrone) and Rhonda Summerall (Tracy); and his uncle Robbie Dillon (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hartman Jones Funeral Home (1801 Delaware Ave, McComb, MS 39648). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
