He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Martin Smith and Willie Pearl Wallace; and his siblings, Stevie Smith, Kenneth Smith, William Wallace and Yvonne Smith Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Conerly Smith; his sons, Arnie Smith (Melanie) of Magnolia, MS. and Stevie Smith (Brandi) of Magnolia, MS.; his grandchildren, Hilarie Smith Cruise (Will), Mikaela Smith Brister (Hagen), Taylor Smith (Madison), Morgan Smith Davis (Gabriel) and Mikey Smith; his great grandchildren, Kinley, Ava, Evelyn, Watson, Carter and Joleigh; and his siblings, Gill Smith, Peewee Smith, Melvin Wallace and Flo Smith Johnson.
