He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Monroe "Pete" and Janet Cain Lampton of Magnolia. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Lampton of Decatur, MS and Christy Lampton Rushing (Steve) of Fernwood, MS; his grandchildren, Anne Elizabeth Rushing of Fernwood, MS and Bruner Rushing of Fernwood, MS; and his sister Lynne Lampton Watkins of Chesnee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Magnolia United Methodist Church (110 E Myrtle St, Magnolia, MS 39652). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
