He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brown and Letha Burcham Brown; and his wife Exie Hawkins Brown. He is survived by: his children, Margaret Hawkins (Dorman) of Mantachie and Larry Dee Brown (Kris); his grandchildren, Tiffany Nicole Aderholt (Charles) of Mantachie, Amanda Bridges (Jason) of Mantachie and Jesse Hawkins (Shelia) of Dorsey; his great grandchildren, Morgan Bowden of Mantachie, Riley Bridges of Mantachie and Darcy Bridges of Mantachie; and his siblings, John Kenyon Brown, Vera Mae Patrick, Wilburn Ray Brown, Lester Hollis Brown, Elvia Lou Clouse, Leland Jay Brown, Cora Phene Cooley and Mary Sue Lamb. He is also survived by seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home - Mantachie (3535 MS-371, Mantachie, MS 38855). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
