He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Garrett and Ewen Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Adelia Joyce Garrett of Fulton, Gary Powell Hall Garrett (Kellye) of Booneville and Joyce Carolyn Matthews (Marten) of Emmett; his brother Robert "Hobbie" Garrett of Palatine, IL.; his grandchildren, Hannah Morgan Macaw (Justin) of Eagle, Calista Diane Houdek of Mountain Home, ID, Garrett Ross Matthews of Emmett, ID, Brooke Anne Putt (Wesley) of Tupelo, MS, Mollie Lauren Brown and Olivia Joyce Garrett (Gracen Powell Garrett); his great grandchild Rolly Macaw of Eagle, ID; and his nieces, Catherine Garrett and Sylvie Resch (Benjamin) of Chicago, IL..
