She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou and Earnest Jones; her husband Nelson Hurd; her son Steve Hurd; and her brother Paul Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Marcy (Danny) of Eggville and Brian Hurd-Servin (Jason) of Irvine, CA; her sister Sandra Reynolds (Wigg); and her sister-in-law Janice Whitmon of Mantachie. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home - Mantachie (3535 MS-371, Mantachie, MS 38855). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
